Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will drive accurate financial reporting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization's financial health through expert analysis and meticulous data management. Your expertise will help streamline accounting processes, enhance internal controls, and contribute to strategic decision-making. The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting business decisions through financial analysis. The role acts as a key contact for accounting matters and contributes to process improvements, efficiency, and compliance within the finance function. Duties Prepare, review, and analyze complex journal entries, ensuring accuracy in double entry bookkeeping and adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, accounts payable automation, and vendor reconciliations using software . Perform technical accounting tasks including journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of financial concepts to support accurate reporting. Lead responsibility for month-end and year-end closing process Prepare and maintain account reconciliations of all key Balance Sheet accounts Perform daily bank reconciliation and develop cash forecasting tool Cost accounting for Inventory and Work in Process Manage Accounts Payable function including supervising A/P entry personnel Review invoicing processes in cooperation with Customer Service Analyze financial data and summarize financial status Support internal and external audits Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Monitor tax-related obligations and deadlines Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls Act as a key contact for accounting-related questions across departments Drive process improvements and automation initiatives Strong knowledge of financial and cost accounting Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and take ownership Strong communication skills and stakeholder management High attention to detail and reliability Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics GP or Business Central Proven accounting experience with a strong background in finance or accounting roles within a corporate environment. Strong understanding of technical accounting principles related to double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Job Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. CPA candidate 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience in manufacturing environment preferred Experience in Accounts Payable and general ledger

IT Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel ERP system experience required
Languages:
Fluent English (written and spoken) required Any additional language is an advantage
Additional Requirements:
Regular on-site presence required (manufacturing environment)
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
