The Role:
Do you want to be involved in providing trusted, insightful and comprehensive financial advice and assisting in maintaining projects and assets? This may be the job for you! We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Performance Accountant Graduate to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will partner with the wider team and business to plan, organise and monitor business activities as well as support the delivery of accurate and effective financial budgeting, forecasting and financial project management. The successful candidate will also ensure the provision of timely and accurate information to assist financial and operational decision making and management. Ideally the role would suit a recent financial graduate, but if you do not fulfil all the requirements, you are still welcome to apply. Remuneration will be commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience. Got what it takes?
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or relevant discipline (accounting finance, economics)
  • Interest in developing and maintaining systems and processes that respond to complex, strategic, legislative, asset, environmental and organisational requirements
  • Strong data analytical skills and excel modelling capability
  • An ability to understand business drivers and trends
  • An interest in project management
  • A team player who contributes positively and has strong communication skills
  • Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers Licence
