Job Summary The Staff Accountant supports the accounting function by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This role works closely with finance leadership and other departments to support day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries; maintain general ledger accounts Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and subsidiary ledgers Prepare and review account analyses and supporting schedules Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries as needed Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards Assist with process improvements and special projects as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred (public or private) Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
