A Typical Week May Look Like This… Prepare and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts including Fixed Assets, Investments, Accrued Liabilities, Payroll, recording journal entries, and supporting the monthly close processes. Manage the accounts payable cycle, including invoice and expense report review and approvals, inputting expense vouchers into Concur reporting, payment processing (checks, ACH, wires), and vendor issue resolution. Process payroll changes and oversee bi-weekly payroll in coordination with HR, including audits, ADP submissions, and retirement/HSA contribution reporting. Monitors the daily compliance with federal and state regulations including W-2 and 1099 reporting, state property tax filings, and escheatment requirements. Support the annual audit by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation; participate in internal control and process improvement initiatives. Maintain documentation of financial workflows and contribute to the development of new procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency of the financial reporting function. Directly work with and assist the Controller and CFO in tasks such as budgeting, financial reporting, and financial system conversions for the Association. Is This You? Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with 2-4 years of experience in a staff accountant role or 1 year in a senior accountant role. CPA candidate preferred. A strong problem solver, fast learner, and hardworking individual who can maintain multiple different priorities. An adaptable person who is highly collaborative and fosters strong teamwork. Ability to collaborate in a virtual environment and enjoys a challenge in a fast-paced workplace. Experience with systems such as Concur, ADP, and Sage Intacct. This is Us!
