About the Company Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Staff Accountant to join our team and play a key role across both general accounting and day-to-day financial operations. About the Role In this role, you'll work across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end close, and general ledger activities, partnering with teams throughout the business to ensure our financial information is accurate, timely, and actionable. Responsibilities General Accounting Support the month-end and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts Investigate variances and resolve discrepancies Help maintain accurate financial records and strengthen accounting processes Support financial reporting and other accounting projects as needed Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manage the day-to-day AP process, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment processing Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries Process customer invoices and assist with collections and cash application Reconcile customer and vendor accounts Monitor outstanding receivables and help resolve billing discrepancies Assist with cash receipts, deposits, and bank reconciliations Operations & Collaboration Partner with internal teams to ensure transactions are accurate and properly documented Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and reporting Provide accounting support for operational initiatives and special projects Become a trusted resource for accounting questions across the organization Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2-5 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to both general accounting and AP/AR Required Skills Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach A proactive mindset-you see something that needs to be fixed and take ownership of getting it done Preferred Skills None specified Pay range and compensation package None specified Equal Opportunity Statement Robert Half is committed to diversity and inclusivity.
