Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional looking for full-time or part-time work- retirees with Relevant experiences are highly encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
Job Costing & Financial Analysis:
Manage job costing by project and cost code, track WIP (Work in Progress) and monitor project profitability.
General Accounting:
Perform regular bank and Credit Card reconciliation, complete month-end closings, resolve account discrepancies independently without waiting for management direction and general ledger maintenance.
Account & Ledger:
Manage accounts receivable (AR), process journal entries and handle job setup. Payroll Integration from P4C to QuickBooks.
Reporting:
Assist with tax reporting and maintain up-to-date financial data in QuickBooks. Handling Insurance Audits.
Qualification & Requirements:
Software:
Hands-on Experience with QuickBooks is required
Skills:
Strong foundation in core accounting principles and financial reconciliation
Industry Experience:
Previous Accounting or bookkeeping experience required. Several Years working directly for a
General Contractor or Subcontractor Job Types:
