Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team and work closely with an exceptional Controller who is committed to mentoring and developing talent. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accountant with 5+ years of experience who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys being involved in all aspects of the accounting function. The role offers broad exposure to financial reporting, analysis, and operational accounting while providing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead key aspects of the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and account analysis Prepare and post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules Reconcile and monitor daily cash activity Assist with cash flow reporting and analysis Prepare operational and financial reports for management Maintain fixed asset schedules and oversee depreciation accounting Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Support internal and external audit processes Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and drive efficiencies Partner with operational teams to support business initiatives and financial objectives Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as needed Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close procedures Experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis functions Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Proven ability to identify process improvements and implement efficiencies NetSuite experience strongly preferred Why Join This Organization?
