Staff Accountant Salary:

Nottingham, MD Are you a Staff Accountant looking for the next step in your career? Our client is a well-known and growing organization who is seeking a motivated accounting professional who wants to expand their responsibilities, gain exposure to month-end close and financial reporting, and work alongside an exceptional Controller who is committed to mentoring and developing talent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience who is ready to build the skills needed to transition into a future Senior Accountant role. What You'll Do Assist with the monthly close process, including account reconciliations and analytical review Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules Reconcile and monitor daily cash activity Support cash flow analysis and reporting Prepare operational and financial reports for management Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements Help improve accounting processes and identify efficiencies Work closely with operational teams to support business initiatives Assist with audits, budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting projects as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 2+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and month-end close activities Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally NetSuite experience is strongly preferred Desire to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility Why This Opportunity?
