Months Contract Job Overview:

The Expatriate Tax Accountant supports the Global Mobility team and employees on international assignments by managing expatriate tax inquiries, metrics, and operational processes. This role administers expatriate tax programs, supports tax equalization, and partners with external tax firms to ensure accurate compliance and settlements. Key responsibilities include maintaining tax metrics and databases, researching compensation discrepancies, reconciling payments, processing vendor invoices, and providing clear guidance to expatriates and stakeholders on U.S. and foreign tax matters. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high volumes of data in a fast-paced environment are essential. Key Responsibilities Manage expatriate tax inquiries and support Global Mobility operations Administer tax equalization processes and settlements Analyze compensation data and resolve discrepancies Maintain metrics, reports, and databases for tax services Process invoices, reconciliations, and employee tax records Partner with external tax service providers Provide education and guidance on expatriate tax policies Skills Experience with individual income tax returns Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) Experience analyzing compensation and payroll data Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile financial data Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and manage large volumes of data in a fast-paced environment

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Global Management, or equivalent experience.
