- CPA Prefered with Public Accounting Experience We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team! General Accountant
- Senior Job Description Candidates for senior accountant positions should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. At S & A when we hire senior accountants, we generally look for at least three years' experience, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. A CPA is preferred. CPA Firm experience is a plus. Typical senior accountant
- duties:
- Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
- Preparing financial statements.
- Supporting month-end and year-end close.
- Preparing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
- Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the annual budget variance analyses
- Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
- Maintaining and reconciling Debt Schedules.
- Supervising accounting staff.
