Job Overview Dennis Anderson Construction Corporation is a family-owned General Contractor serving Southern Maryland. We are looking for a Construction Office Assistant. What you'll do: Assist the Project Management Team Process owner/client contracts through our software & in-house network Track bond and certificate requirements Issue subcontracts Gather information to prepare and process Change Orders Process subcontractor requisitions Make sure signed subcontracts, change orders & insurance are all in hand before payment distribution Welcome and assist office visitors and answer and direct incoming callsRequirements Order and Maintain Office Equipment & Supplies Retrieve Daily Mail from local Post Office and sort/distribute mail Print and scan submittals, drawings, distributions Maintain organized filing systems, tracking Prepare Lien Releases for Accounting Purposes Coordinate Project Documents Maintain Project, Trailer, Phone & Equipment Records Assemble Bid Packages with Estimating Assist Accounting Controller Provide General Administrative Support for
Office Staff Prepare and Update Office & Employee Manuals Minimum Qualifications:
•5-Years Experience working in an Office Setting •Previous Experience in the construction industry or construction-related field Reliable Transportation to commute and run occasional business errands Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to learn new softwares Ability to multi-task and prioritize Strong written & verbal communication skills
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
