Job Description Precision Custom Components (PCC) is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our Controller/CFO in York, PA. \n At PCC, you'll be part of a skilled team that delivers high-quality, made-to-spec components where precision, reliability, and customer focus matter. Whether you're driving results in the office or making them happen behind the scenes, you'll collaborate across departments to support financial operations, ensure reporting accuracy, and help drive the Company's long-term success. \n This position is designed as a developmental opportunity for an accounting professional seeking growth into a future Controller-level role. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and ERP systems within a manufacturing environment. CPA certification or progress toward certification is strongly preferred. \n Essential Duties of the
Senior Accountant:
\n \nAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.\nPrepare and post general ledger journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.\nReconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.\nAssist with preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports.\nSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and cash management functions as needed.\nAssist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.\nSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.\nMaintain and analyze accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with Company policies and accounting standards.\nAssist with job costing, inventory accounting, and project accounting activities.\nHelp maintain ERP system data integrity and support accounting process improvements.\nAssist in the preparation of tax-related schedules and filings.\nCollaborate with department managers to resolve accounting and financial issues.\nAssist with development and documentation of accounting procedures and internal controls.\nServe as a backup for various accounting department functions as needed.\nPerform special projects and financial analyses as assigned by the Controller or CFO.\n\n
Education/Qualifications:
\n \nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.\nCPA certification strongly preferred.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, corporate accounting, or manufacturing accounting environment required.\nStrong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting processes.\nManufacturing accounting experience preferred.\nExperience with ERP systems required.\nExcellent computer skills required.
