Job Description

Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking an Accountant (or Senior Accountant depending on experience) to support the Finance Team. Responsibilities Perform regular account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance. Prepare audit work papers, financial statements and reports, and fixed asset schedules. Reviews and analyzes general ledger and financial statements for accuracy. Facilitate payroll and tax accounting and reporting, including not not limited to remittance of tax deposits and quarterly/annual Form 941 payments. Assists Controller and CFO with financial support activities, including but not limited to annual UDS reporting, year-end audit, budgets, and cost reports. Our Mission Providing exceptional health care services for all people in the Upper Great Lakes region regardless of their ability to pay. Possesses the equivalent of formal training in accounting or business administration, generally obtained in the form of a bachelor's degree. Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements, as well as experience processing payroll. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial and payroll information.
