reviews $34•$39 an hour•Full-time A great UHY client is seeking an Accounting Consultant to support the accounting team within a well-established and highly collaborative organization. This role will assist with key accounting functions, including intercompany accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger support, while serving as a valuable contributor during a critical year-end period. The Accounting Consultant role is a hybrid position based in Dearborn, MI with 3-6 days per month in the office (increasing after summer months). This is a temporary opportunity expected to run through at least December 2026, with strong potential for extension or contract-to-hire. Accounting Consultant Responsibilities Support general accounting functions, including journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with intercompany accounting, including foreign currency transactions Prepare and analyze financial data and reports Work within SAP (S/4 preferred) or similar ERP systems to manage financial information Utilize advanced Excel for reporting, analysis, and data management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting processes Assist with year-end close activities and reporting requirements Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation Accounting Consultant Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required SAP S/4 experience strongly preferred; other large ERP experience will be considered Experience with intercompany accounting; foreign currency experience preferred Strong advanced Excel skills required Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment Professional demeanor and ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting•UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
