$90,000 - $120,000 A growing manufacturing company in Fraser is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Accountant to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys a hands on role and wants to make a direct impact within a growing organization.

The Senior Manufacturing Accountant will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, and partnering with leadership to support business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
  • Assist with month end and year end close activities
  • Support financial reporting and financial statement preparation
  • Analyze general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
  • Track manufacturing costs, project costs, and job costing information
  • Monitor inventory related accounting transactions
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
  • Work closely with leadership to provide financial information and operational support
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of previous Manufacturing Accounting experience
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month end close
  • Knowledge of job costing and inventory accounting
  • Strong Excel and accounting software skills
  • Experience working within an ERP system preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
