If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking Cost Accountants who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard product costs. Analyze manufacturing variances and provide detailed explanations. Prepare cost of goods sold and inventory valuation reports. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data. Participate in make-or-buy analysis and capital expenditure evaluations. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities. Reconcile inventory accounts and investigate discrepancies. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. CMA certification or progress towards is a plus.
