This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to lead accounting functions, ensure compliance with standards and processes, and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Your proactive approach and strong technical skills will be instrumental in supporting our strategic objectives and maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. Duties Accounting Operations Own day-to-day accounting execution in NetSuite Manage month-end close activities, including accruals, deferrals, inventory, and COGS Maintain accurate general ledger, balance sheet, and P&L Prepare and post journal entries; support reconciliations Ensure transactional discipline and proper cutoff Partner with external CPA / advisors as needed Accounts Receivable / Payable Oversee A/R and A/P processes Ensure accurate invoicing, cash application, and credit memos Enforce purchasing and AP workflows (PO → receipt → invoice) Flag variances or anomalies for review Payroll Process payroll through established provider Review time data and ensure accuracy Post payroll journal entries and accruals Coordinate with payroll vendor as needed Inventory and Scheduling Maintain inventory accuracy within NetSuite Support inventory reconciliation and adjustments Ensure BOMs, routings, and cost data are accurate in the system Maintain build points and rule-based production planning logic in NetSuite Reporting Produce accurate financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Investigate and explain material variances Provide reliable data to support management decision-making Qualifications 3-8+ years of accounting experience Experience owning month-end close ERP experience required (NetSuite preferred) Experience with inventory and COGS accounting Manufacturing or operations-adjacent experience a plus Strong attention to detail and process discipline Comfortable enforcing rules and escalating exceptions
