If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Cost Accountants. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. By connecting with The Pivot Group Network, you position yourself for roles that match your background and aspirations. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard product costs. Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare variance reports. Perform cost-benefit analysis for capital projects and new product introductions. Support the budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data. Participate in inventory valuation and reconciliation. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities. Prepare detailed cost reports for management review. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
