Staff Accountant –Costing & Inventory Location:
Niles, MI (Onsite) About the Opportunity for a Staff Accountant –Costing & Inventory:

- Great opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to grow their experience in manufacturing, costing, and inventory analysis. Overview of the Staff Accountant – Costing & Inventory role:
- Assist with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Maintain and review Bill of Materials (BOMs) and product costing within the ERP system.
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and support reporting for plant leadership.
- Assist with month-end close activities , including journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory valuation. Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant – Costing & Inventory role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field .
- 0–3 years of accounting experience; manufacturing or inventory experience is a plus .
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis.
- ERP system experience preferred; familiarity with inventory or costing modules is helpful.
