Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing tasks to help ensure financial results are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare and evaluate journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations while resolving variances across general ledger accounts.
- Review balance sheet activity, research discrepancies, and take corrective action to maintain reliable accounting records.
- Contribute to financial reporting deliverables and management reporting packages in alignment with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Support accounting for invoicing, revenue recognition, contract activity, and project-related transactions, including work performed in Certinia.
- Partner with billing, payroll, and operations teams to address client account issues, payroll-related accounting items, and invoicing exceptions.
- Analyze revenue patterns, margin performance, payroll funding, tax obligations, and statutory remittances to support informed financial decision-making.
- Assist with audit preparation, internal control efforts, policy documentation, and other finance projects as assigned by leadership.
