If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in St. Johns seeking experienced Staff Accountants. Key Responsibilities Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification and payment processing. Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation for manufacturing equipment. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods. Support inventory costing and valuation processes, including analyzing material and labor costs. Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Experience with cost accounting and inventory valuation Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports Bonus Qualifications Additional certifications or training Job Titles That Should Apply Staff Accountant, Junior Accountant, General Accountant, Accounting Assistant, Financial Accountant, Cost Accountant, Tax Accountant, Compliance Accountant, Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Specialist, Bookkeeper, Financial Analyst (Entry-Level), Assistant Controller, Auditor (Junior), Payroll Specialist Why The Pivot Group Network The Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
