If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Grand Haven seeking experienced Cost Accountants. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard product costs. Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) and report on their drivers. Prepare detailed cost forecasts and budgets for production. Conduct make-or-buy analyses and provide cost-related recommendations. Support inventory valuation and reconciliation processes. Identify cost reduction opportunities and track their implementation. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
