If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Zeeland seeking Cost Accountants who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard product costs. Analyze manufacturing variances and provide detailed explanations. Prepare cost of goods sold and inventory reconciliations. Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost-related data. Participate in make-or-buy analysis and capital expenditure justifications. Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a manufacturing context.
