As a staff accountant in this role, you'd be hired directly by Robert Half Finance and Accounting as an internal, full time, salaried employee with full benefits. Salary ranging anywhere from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on years of experience. As our clients have projects come up, you would be deployed to different locations to assist with their needs. Each client project varies but is normally around 3-6 months. Then, you'd be on to a new client, typically picking up a new skill at each place. You'd get to take on new challenges every few months, gain experience in new industries, while having the stability of a full-time salary and benefits. You still get paid overtime for any hours worked over 40 and you get paid your full salary whether you're on a current project or between projects. Preferred Skills:
General ledger accounting Ability to maintain journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Financial reporting Skill in preparing accurate financial statements and supporting schedules. Accounts payable and receivable knowledge Understanding of invoice processing, billing, cash applications, and payment tracking. Account reconciliation Ability to reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and identify discrepancies. Excel proficiency Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and data organization. Attention to detail Essential for accuracy in recording transactions, reviewing reports, and maintaining compliance. Knowledge of accounting principles Familiarity with GAAP and standard accounting procedures. Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to investigate variances, spot trends, and resolve accounting issues.Benefits
