Job Description
Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate and timely financial records. Lead key month-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and balances are properly supported. Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies through detailed analysis. Perform bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding items to ensure cash activity is accurately recorded. Support accounts payable processing, including invoice review and coordination within Esker. Manage accounts receivable tasks such as payment application, account follow-up, and balance tracking. Use SAP and Microsoft Excel to analyze transactions, generate reports, and maintain accounting documentation. Assist with cross-functional accounting needs and provide coverage across multiple finance processes as business demands shift. 3+ years of accounting experience in a hands-on role with broad exposure to core accounting functions. Strong working knowledge of month-end close, general ledger activity, and journal entry preparation. Experience completing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy. Practical background supporting both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and account review. Experience using Esker and SAP in an accounting environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining organized and reliable work output.
