None Job Summary:

The Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This role is responsible for routine financial transactions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, approvals, and payments Support AP and payroll functions Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations (bank and balance sheet) Support month-end and year-end close activities Maintain accurate and organized financial records Assist with audits, financial reporting, and resolving discrepancies Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of financial data Support account payable processes, including coding, approvals, and payments

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Flexibility to work additional hours during close periods as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP fundamentals Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and electronic record keeping Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to maintain concentration and accuracy amid interruptions Effective interpersonal skills with a professional and team-oriented approach

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; Bachelor's degree preferred 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting Complete TB testing within the first 3 weeks of employment
