Hiring Consideration for Student/Certification in
Progress:
We are open to hiring candidates who are currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program or in process of obtaining certification. Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of the program and certification within an agreed-upon timeframe.

There is a medical clinic located in the complex as well as a satellite medical clinic in Karlstad, Minnesota. Job Summary:
As a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technologist (RT(R)), this role will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, DEXA, EKG, Spirometry, and CT scans. As an RT (R) you will be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating radiologic equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing high quality diagnostic images for physician's review.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Perform radiographic examination as ordered by providers. Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety measures. Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records. Collaborate with healthcare team members and providers. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions. and more.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to interact with both patients and healthcare professionals. Comprehension of various imaging producers and techniques. Understanding of radiation safety and protection of self, patients, and team members. Familiarity with medical terms, as it relates to medical imaging. Proven comprehension and skill of medical imaging equipment, operation and maintenance. Ability to evaluate images for clarity, contrast, and diagnostic quality. Effective troubleshooting skills to resolve challenges as it relates to medical imaging tasks. Efficient time management skills within complex and fast-paced environment. Change management and adaptability. Ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively solely and with team members. Maintain comprehension of regulatory standards and ethical practices. Commitment and engaging in continuing education to stay informed of the industry developments.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or current enrollment in such program. ARRT certification or eligibility to obtain Current CT certification (nice to have). 1-year general radiography, CT, and ultrasound experience (nice to have). Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting. Complete TB test within the first 3 weeks of employment. Job Schedule/Location(s): Hallock, MN and rotation in Karlstad, MN Shifts (PT): 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Shifts (Flex): 8:00am
  • 5:00pm On call Monday-Friday 5:00 PM
  • 8:00 AM Rotating on call weekends (Saturday-Sunday) and holidays full 24 hours Long-term care, Clinic, and Hospital setting
