Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and accounting experience will be considered. Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Experience Requirements Minimum of 2+ years of accounting, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bookkeeping, or financial reporting experience. Experience supporting month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Working knowledge of collections, credit checks, invoicing, and vendor/customer account management. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or other ERP systems. Strong understanding of cost accounting, manufacturing costs, labor costs, and variance analysis. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Physical Capabilities Work is performed in a professional office environment. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday. Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment for extended periods. Job Duties Analyze manufacturing, labor, and overhead costs and compare actual results to standards to identify cost variances. Support month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Maintain accurate customer and vendor records, setup documentation, and supporting files. Manage accounts receivable activities, including collections, dispute resolution, past-due invoice follow-up, and credit reviews. Support accounts payable functions and other accounting operations as needed. Collaborate with the Director of Finance to improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
