Type:

full-time We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This role is responsible for assisting with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting.

Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes Prepare and post journal entries Perform bank and account reconciliations Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies Process employee expense reports Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules Support internal and external audit requests Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 0-4 years of accounting experience Understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus
