Type:

full-time The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Responsibilities Complete general ledger functions, including preparing and reviewing complex journal entries and account reconciliations. Lead the timely and accurate execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepaid assets, accruals, and fixed-asset depreciation schedules. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Analyze financial data, investigate budget variances, and identify key business trends. Assist management and executives with financial forecasting, revenue projections, and strategic decision-making. Ensure all financial transactions and reporting comply with US GAAP or applicable accounting frameworks. Coordinate interim and year-end external and internal audit activities, preparing required workpapers and schedules. Support, document, and test internal controls, such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance procedures. Review journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by junior or staff accountants. Identify and implement accounting process improvements, automation, and system enhancements Qualifications 3+ years' of professional accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience CPA preferred
