This is an in person position. This position is a key financial resource, providing accurate financial reporting, analysis, compliance oversight, and accounting support for multiple companies. The role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records and providing detailed and timely financial information to General Manager and Company President. Position duties and Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting Daily/monthly/annual accounting operations (Month and Year-end close, etc) Financial statements for multiple companies General ledger maintenance and reconciliation Bank account reconciliation for multiple companies Tenant ledger review and reconciliation Journal entries and electronic transactions. Accurately record tenant payments and management fees in accordance with contractual agreements Compliance & Reporting 4D tax credit reporting Energy Star/HUD reporting Annual 1099 reporting CRP processing Mortgage and bank compliance and reporting Vendor Records [W-9, insurance and MN registration requirements] Audit & Year-End Coordinate external audits Work with outside accounting firm
  • provide confidential data and reporting Prepare year-end reports and supporting documentation Ownership & Financial Support Financial reporting to President/General Manager Financing/refinancing support New construction financial reporting Confidential financial and administrative matters relating to multiple companies and owner Maintain solid relationships with banks and customers.

    • Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and best accounting practices. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Property Management experience CPA preferred but not required
    • Human Resource experience is a plus but not required
    Pay:
    $85,000.00
