Job Description
Full Charge Bookkeeper A well-established home builder is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants to be a key contributor to a close-knit team. Responsibilities Manage the company's day-to-day accounting functions from start to finish Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements and reports Process payroll and payroll tax filings Manage subcontractor payments, W-9s, and 1099 reporting Reconcile job costs and assist with construction accounting activities Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting Work closely with ownership on financial reporting and business operations Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Assist with month-end and year-end close Qualifications 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Previous experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (required) Experience in residential construction, custom home building, or general contracting preferred Knowledge of job costing and construction accounting principles Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy Self-motivated with excellent communication skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Paid Time Off Retirement plan Stable, family-oriented company culture Opportunity to make a direct impact within a growing custom home builder Please send your resume to Megan Cantone @ megan.cantone@gogpac.com OR call 605-610-1570
