Sr. Accountant

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a variety of financial operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and organizational skills who can oversee financial reporting, reconciliations, and payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and company policies.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations, including sales, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including detailed variance and flux analyses.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures to maintain accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain supporting schedules to ensure data integrity.
• Manage daily cash operations, including cash applications and payment processing for checks and wire transfers.
• Complete bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and monthly inventory count reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and disclosures.
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Verify payroll accruals, benefit payments, and ensure timely submission of payroll reports.
