Job Description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Payroll Accountant to join our Accounting Team as we continue to grow - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Days Hours:

8:00am-4:30pm

What Your Day Looks Like:

In this role, you will be preparing payroll checks, maintaining payroll information, and performing general ledger and accounting functions for departments across the organization. As a Payroll Accountant you will be: Maintaining employee payroll records Coordinating with department managers to manage time card approvals and extra compensations; reviewing and editing timekeeping entries Matching W-4 and deduction authorizations and preparing year-end W-2s Reconciling withholdings with vendor billing statements Working with Human Resources to ensure the accuracy of all payroll data

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required

Skills:

Payroll and accounting skills

Licensure/Certification:

SAFE Training within one year; renew annually
