IMKO Workforce Solutions is looking for an Staff Accountant to join a team in Marshall! In this pivotal role, you will work hand-in-hand with our Finance Department to ensure organizational excellence, maintain GAAP compliance, and help guide our financial strategy. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a blend of core accounting processes and big-picture forecasting, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Drive Strategy & Growth:
Contribute crucial financial insights, analysis, and recommendations that shape our strategic direction.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Help coordinate budget and forecast preparations, giving our leadership team the accurate projections they need to make informed decisions.
Manage Cash Flow:
Maintain optimal fund balances by proactively forecasting cash requirements and commitments.
Optimize Performance:
Dive into data to analyze sales margins, evaluate product/service pricing policies, and minimize inventory investment by tracking turns.
Core Accounting Processes:
Execute standard accounting workflows seamlessly while ensuring all values, policies, and procedures align with GAAP guidelines.
Team Collaboration:
Serve as a trusted advisor to various departments looking for data analysis, and step in to support and back up Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) when needed.
Data Integrity:
Confidently research and interpret data to solve complex financial puzzles, keeping all sensitive organizational information secure and confidential. What You Bring to the
Table Education & Experience:
An Associate's degree in Accounting and a strong background in accounting within a manufacturing environment. Five plus years of experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
Technical Savvy:
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a deep, practical understanding of GAAP principles.
Core Skills:
Strong organizational skills, sharp critical thinking abilities, and top-notch communication skills.
Background:
Solid office and administrative experience, with an unmatched attention to detail.
