This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is interested in building a career in accounting and gaining practical experience in a professional environment.

Responsibilities may include:

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including processing invoices, payments, and customer transactions Prepare and post routine journal entries under the direction of senior accounting team members Perform account and bank reconciliations and research discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Assist with reviewing transactions for accuracy and proper account coding Support the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and account analyses Research and resolve routine accounting discrepancies Assist with tracking expenses, accruals, and other financial activity Enter and maintain financial information in accounting and ERP systems Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed Communicate with internal departments and external contacts to resolve routine accounting questions Maintain organized electronic and paper accounting records Support process improvements and other accounting projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field Recent college graduate or up to 2 years of accounting experience Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices Familiarity with debits, credits, journal entries, and account reconciliations Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with an accounting or ERP system through coursework, internship, or prior employment is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and ask questions when additional information or clarification is needed Willingness to learn new accounting systems, processes, and responsibilities #ACCPRI #ACCEE
