Job Description
Project Accountant - Accounting 📍 St Louis, MO | Full-Time 💰 Overview Seeking a Project Accountant to support project finance and billing operations. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of accounting or billing experience , strong organizational skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Construction experience is a plus but not required. Key Responsibilities Familiarity with multiple divisions and locations is preferable. Job Billings for our more complex customer contracts. Reconcile Sheet Metal divisional revenue monthly. Enter Estimates into software. Maintain job master files. Updating of contract values and estimates as change orders are received. Maintain Certificate of Insurance files - paper and online. Oversee Master Subcontract files. Enter subcontracts into software ensuring insurance is up to date. Answer payment questions from suppliers as they arise on pay-when-paid contracts. Cross training in and the ability to back up other areas: Accounts Payable, Billing, Cash Posting, Job Creation, Subcontracts, and Payroll. 1099 NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT annual reporting. Contributor to annual audit, as directed. Other miscellaneous duties as directed. Required Qualifications Experience with AIA Billings, Schedule of Values, MBE reporting, Lien Waivers and Time and Material billings. Familiarity with tax exemptions. Familiarity with use tax.
