Job Summary With a blend of product lines under the Hol-Mac Corporation, Huber Corporation, and Anel Corporation brand, the Staff Accountant position provides a unique opportunity in the manufacturing sector. The Accountant - I plays an integral part in maintaining the success of the Enterprise. Under direct supervision of the Finance Manager, the Staff Accountant will work closely with all facets of the Finance department: Payroll, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger management. This position will be expected to employ critical thinking and detailed analysis to ensure operational efficiency and financial accuracy. The position requires an up-beat attitude and consistent performance that contributes to a positive work environment. Hol-Mac is committed to developing future finance leaders. This role provides hands-on exposure to all major accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, financial reporting, and tax compliance. The successful candidate will have opportunities for professional growth, expanded responsibilities, and advancement within the Finance organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including but not limited to: accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance Contribute to the monthly close process by completing account reconciliations, recording daily journal entries, and other monthly accounting transactions Assist in preparing monthly financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Assist in the preparation of various tax related matters, including filing of year-end 1099s and payroll taxes Assist with certain month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements Carries out additional duties as needed or as assigned Collaborate with various departments to assist with financial decision-making

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance related field 0-3 years of experience in Accounting or a Finance related field Preferred Qualifications Internship or prior experience in manufacturing, public accounting, or corporate accounting Experience with ERP systems Familiarity with cost accounting principles

Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, & Powerpoint Ability to conduct critical decision-making Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Data Analysis Effective written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment/Requirements:

Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deadlines The position may require occasional travel Primarily office-based environment with frequent computer use

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
