Job Description

Platform Senior Accountant This role is a blend of traditional accounting and financial planning & analysis, supporting multiple business units within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The Platform Senior Accountant will work closely with leadership to provide financial insights, assist with reporting, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and wants to grow into leadership roles such as Controller in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Support month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and assisting with financial statement preparation Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data Perform regular account and bank reconciliations Assist with weekly and monthly financial reporting for multiple business units Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with a strong focus on margin and sales performance Partner with business unit leaders to provide financial insights and analytical support Participate in audit preparation and compliance-related activities Assist with various tax-related processes (sales/use, property, etc.) Create ad hoc reports and support special projects as needed
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of accounting and/or FP&A experience Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple stakeholders Self-starter with a proactive and adaptable mindset
