In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and supporting various accounting functions across multiple platforms for our small business clients. Your expertise in accounting standards, along with proficiency in a variety of financial software, will ensure the integrity of our client's financial data. Responsibilities and skill requirements Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable management, and account analysis to maintain precise financial records. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including general ledger accounting which includes but not limited to bookkeeping, payroll processing and payroll tax reporting, sales and use tax reporting, and preparation of business personal property tax listings. Manage data entry tasks within various accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Drake Accounting, Drake Tax and others. Conduct payroll management activities using payroll platforms while ensuring accurate processing of employee payments and tax filings. Tax preparation of S Corporation, partnership and individual tax returns. Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Drake Accounting, and Drake Tax. Familiarity with payroll management systems. Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and balance sheet management. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in account analysis and financial reporting. Ability to prioritize and manage deadline pressures.
