Job Description
Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking an Accountant for our client in Garner, NC 27529. We are seeking a talented and experienced accounting professional to join our team and work closely with our existing Controller to maintain and help improve the financial processes of our growing business.
Job Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable- Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes.
- Monitor aging reports and assist with collections where appropriate.
- Process and manage accounts payable and vendor payments.
- Resolve discrepancies in billing or vendor invoices. Bookkeeping and Financial Recordkeeping
- Maintain accurate and current financial records.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Maintain general ledger entries and documentation.
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes. Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with payroll tax requirements.
- Maintain employee payroll records.
- Assist with administration of employee benefits programs in coordination with the company's HR Manager.
- Stay informed regarding changes in payroll and benefits regulations. Financial Reporting
- Assist with preparation of internal financial reports.
- Support budgeting and financial planning processes.
- Provide documentation and support for outside accounting and tax professionals. Technology and Systems

- Support ongoing improvement of financial processes through effective use of company systems. Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management experience.
- Experience in a small-to-medium sized business environment preferred.
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, or printing environment is a plus.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Ability to learn and utilize the company's MIS (Management Information System) used to track production, costing, and invoicing.
- Ability to learn and interact with the company's CRM platform.
- Familiarity with payroll software and benefits administration tools.
- Strong analytical ability with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly with management and staff.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to take initiative and improve processes where appropriate.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members.
