We are seeking an experienced, detail oriented Part-Time Accountant to assist with the accounting and financial management of our seven locally owned businesses. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and can manage multiple companies with accuracy and confidentiality. Pay will be based on experience, but we guarrentee a minimum of $25 hourly to start.

Responsibilities include:

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable Bank and credit card reconciliations Preparing monthly financial statements Sales tax reporting and compliance Payroll coordination and journal entries General ledger maintenance Budgeting and financial analysis Working with our CPA for year-end reporting and tax preparation Monitoring cash flow and assisting with financial planning Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and internal controls

Qualifications:

Accounting degree or equivalent work experience Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online Excellent organizational and communication skills High level of integrity and confidentiality Ability to manage multiple entities and prioritize competing deadlines Experience in retail, restaurant, or multi-company accounting is a plus Experience in HR/Payroll accounting is a plus
