Description Robert Half is working with a growing construction company who is looking for a Project Accountant in the Hickory, NC area. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial operations for construction projects, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
- Prepare and review project budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.

- Handle invoicing, billing, and payment processes for assigned projects.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reviews.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and company policies.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reviews of project financials to identify potential risks or issues. Requirements
- Proven experience in project accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
