UPI Global Ingredients [UPI] is a supplier of Natural Ingredients and Chemicals to the Personal Care , Food & Beverage , Pharmaceutical , Veterinary , Health & Nutrition, Flavor & Fragrance, HI&I, Ag & Feed and Industrial Trades. We are recruiting qualified candidates for various positions due to rapid growth over the last few years. Major Duties and Responsibilities Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including processing vendor invoices, matching purchase orders and shipping receipts, generating customer invoices, and managing collections to ensure timely payment. Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank statements, credit card transactions, and sub-ledger accounts, and resolve discrepancies as needed. Assist with inventory accounting by tracking physical inventory, reconciling warehouse receiving logs to vendor invoices, and supporting accurate inventory valuation. Prepare and post standard journal entries, accruals, and other adjustments during the month-end close process. Compile financial data and prepare schedules to support forecasting, reporting, and financial statement preparation. Support the accuracy and integrity of accounting records across procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accounting processes align with real-time operational activity and business needs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables. Experience with ERP systems, such as Sage X3, preferred. Foundational understanding of B2B supply chain operations, freight costs, and inventory valuation methods such as FIFO and LIFO. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
