Job Description

Office Assistant / Accountant We are full service CPA firm to provide day to day accounting, payroll and tax preparation service with in Raleigh, North Carolina area. Solving and representing clients with complex IRS and State audit or tax issues. We are looking for an Office Assistant / Accountant to join our growing team and help us to continue to improve our processes and efficiency The Office Assistant / Accountant will be responsible for the following: Answer and respond to client phone calls in a professional and timely manner. Download and organize bank and credit card statements in PDF and Excel formats. Utilize Excel to assist and support senior accountants with bookkeeping and accounting tasks. Assist with payroll processing, as needed. Prepare, file, and remit sales and use tax returns, as required. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A background in payroll processing is NOT required. We will train you to process the payroll. However, a basic Excel skills (Microsoft Word/Excel) is preferred. Fluent in spoken and written Korean skills are required as most clients are Korean small business owners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong focus is required. Must be able to work in a flexible environment environment while maintaining focus is required.

Job Types:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
