This is a full-time position collaborating with our payroll team to provide payroll support to our clients. We are looking for a candidate with payroll processing experience. The Payroll Accountant would provide a variety of payroll functions. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Process payroll for clients in multiple states Work with accounting team on payroll reporting Work with accounting team on payroll reconciliations Payroll tax payments Bank reconciliations Ensure accurate quarter and year-end processing (including federal, state and local tax reconciliations - 941, 940, W-2, etc.) Record and process garnishments and child support orders Provide excellent customer service to clients Coordinate with HR and Accounting Teams Other duties or projects as needed

Qualifications:

Two to three years of experience Demonstrated competency in using accounting and/or payroll software and executing various payroll processes - UKG; ProLiant; ADP; GUSTO An associate's or bachelor's in accounting or business is preferred Technical payroll skills are a plus
