Our client, located in the Raleigh, NC area, is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Senior GL Accountant to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the close process, partnering cross-functionally, and making an impact. While working as the Senior GL Accountant, you will partner closely with accounting and finance leadership with responsibilities including: Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes while meeting tight reporting deadlines Perform account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy and timeliness Partner with FP&A and Commercial Finance to ensure SG&A accruals are properly identified and recorded Manage and maintain the Capital Expenditure Request (CER) process Ensure capitalized software is accounted for in accordance with

ASC 350-40

Maintain lease accounting in LeaseQuery, including accurate entry and ongoing updates Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the close process Collaborate with Audit and Risk Management to support compliance and internal controls Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed This is an incredible opportunity with a company that offers a collaborative environment, strong leadership, and room for growth. To be considered for this position, you would need: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a senior or GL-focused role Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus) Strong understanding of US GAAP; experience with leases and fixed assets preferred Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and the ability to partner across teams High level of integrity and professionalism Please apply!
