Job Description:
Essential FunctionsAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsPerform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial dataSupport month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timelines align with operational reporting needsMaintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts with a focus on accuracy and usability for leadership reviewAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed to support operational continuityPartner with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, expense tracking, and alignment with budgetsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tied to departmental performance and company goalsProvide timely and accurate financial insights to support operational decision-makingIdentify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and cross-departmental alignmentSupport audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requestsEnsure compliance with company policies, GAAP standards, and internal controlsExecute responsibilities independently while remaining aligned with Controller direction, company priorities, and operational initiativesSupport ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tied to leadership initiatives and company RocksRequired Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field35 years of accounting experience (public or private)Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingAdditional Eligibility QualificationsExperience in e-commerce or a scaling organization preferredFamiliarity with QuickbooksFamiliarity with ERP systems and financial reporting toolsSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneWork EnvironmentThis role operates in a professional office environment within a fast-growing e-commerce company.
