The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy, effective time management, and a desire to learn new skills and further professional growth. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Accounts Receivable Manages incoming payments, properly tracking them into the system to maintain accurate records Collecting payments from customers and accurately recording them in the system Investigate and communicate payment irregularities to the customer and/or accounting management Accounts Payable Match, batch, code and enter AP invoices timely and accurately Investigate issues associated with invoice processing by coordinating with purchasing staff and/or vendors to determine resolution Analyze vendor statements, researching and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner Set up and review vendor files to ensure all necessary documentation has been collected General Accounting Provide backup/coverage within the accounting team Perform other duties as necessary Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes. Competencies Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy Ability to learn new tools and technology quickly Must have strong Excel skills Prioritize duties and responsibilities to meet deadlines Demonstrate the ability to work individually and within team Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written Ability to interact with a variety of people at all organizational levels Experience with NetSuite is preferred. Supervisory Responsibilities None Work Environment Office Environment Required Education and Experience Associate's degree in accounting or related business field or 2+ years of equivalent experience Bachelor's degree (Accounting)
