Job Description:
Responsibilities will include a wide variety of tasks related to the purchase and settlement of grain.
Essential Duties:
Quoting Grain Prices Purchasing and Selling Grain Issuing checks and writing contracts Manage grain offers in hedge management system Running ticket reports for producers and insurances offices Make corrections to tickets Apply open grain to delayed pricing contracts Manage and track grain Inventories Manage lien information records and share with other offices Process sales settlements Operate scale as needed Grade grain for in and outbound loads Retain documents per Public Service Commission requirements Balance hedge position and compile daily hedge reports as needed
Education/Experience:
Minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Computer knowledge to include standard office systems. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills and positive, persuasive, and credible attitude.
